On 24th September 2014, the Orientation programme for the newly promoted ACsIT, 2014 – ‘Uttarayan’ was inaugurated at the National Academy of Direct Taxes (NADT). The inauguration ceremony was held at the NADT Auditorium on 24.09.2014 at 9.30 AM. Sh KV Chowdary, Chairperson, CBDT, New-Delhi graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.

On 17th September 2013, the 88th Foundation Course for the newly recruited civil servants of Govt. India was inaugurated at the National Academy of Direct Taxes (NADT), which is one of the four academies conducting the Foundation course this year.

UPSC Chairman Prof DP Agarwal will be inaugurating the 88th Foundation course at NADT auditorium on 17/9/2013. Dr Sudha Sharma, Chairperson CBDT will preside over the function and Smt Deepa Krishan, Member (P&V), CBDT, will be the guest of honour.

The Airtel Delhi Half Marathon 2012 witnessed participation by Indian Revenue Service officers from the National Academy of Direct Taxes, Nagpur. The Academy was made proud by their successful completion with some clocking impressive timings and personal bests.
