| Dr. Sibichen K. Mathew belongs to the 1992 batch of the Indian Revenue Service [IRS]. He is currently serving as the Director General of the National Academy of Direct Taxes [NADT]. Prior to his posting at NADT, he served as the Principal Director of Income Tax [Investigation], Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. He has also served as Advisor to the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India [TRAI], overseeing the Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra, and Goa region for four years. In addition, he has held key positions such as Commissioner [Appeals] and Commissioner [TDS]. Over a career spanning more than three decades, he has worked across various domains, including Assessment, Administration, Central Charges, the Income Tax Appellate Tribunal, the Centralized Processing Centre under the Systems Directorate, and Investigation. Educational Background: - Post Graduation in Management and Public Policy from I.I.M Bangalore with A Grade.
