Profile: 

Shri Siddaramappa Kappattanavar is an officer of the 2005 batch of the Indian Revenue Service. He is a Law graduate and has master’s degrees in Political Science and Taxation and Business laws. He has worked in assessment, investigation, transfer pricing, and in the training sector at Coimbatore and Mumbai.  Earlier he was posted as Additional DIT RTI -1, NADT Regional Campus, Mumbai from July 2018 to June 2023.

His contribution towards the publishing of “Techniques of Investigation of Assessment-Volume 3” was appreciated by the Pr. DG Admn & TPS , New Delhi. He has submitted policy paper on the topic "Need of overhauling the training in Income Tax Department". Presently he is posted as ADG [Induction], NADT, Nagpur. His areas of expertise are Teaching, Training Calendar Designing, and Training Management.
