Shri Dhananjay Wanjari is an officer of 2008 Batch of IRS and he hails from Dist. Gondia, Maharashtra He has done Post Graduation in Chemistry from IIT, Delhi. He has served the department in various capacities in the field of Assessment. Central Charge, I& CI & Investigation. He was Associate Course Director -2 of 68th Batch of IRS. He has completed the Master Degree in Public Policy Studies at the Harris School of Public Policy, University of Chicago. He has been associated with community service organizations, particularly in the field of education. He has authored one book in Hindi on the Constitution of India. He was promoted as the Addl. Commissioner of Income Tax in January 2021.
