Profile:

Dr. Surjit Kumar Saha is a post graduate in Chemical Technology with specialization in Oil Technology from Laxminarayan Institute of Technology of Nagpur University. He was awarded Doctorate in the faculty of Engineering & Technology of Nagpur University for his pioneering work on blending of fatty oils for edible use. He has published and presented a number of research papers. He is a Chartered Engineer and a recognized Ph.D. guide in Chemical Technology in the faculty of Engineering & Technology of Nagpur University. His other academic qualifications include a masters degree in Public Administration, a diploma in Business Management and a degree in Law. He has been a member of the Board of Studies in the faculty of Chemical Technology of Nagpur University from 2011 to 2015. He joined the Income Tax Department in 1991 and belongs to the 2013 batch of the Indian revenue Service. He has worked in headquarters, vigilance, investigation and assessment and also earlier as a faculty member in NADT from 2015 to 2017. Presently, he has joined NADT in July, 2019 and is working as Deputy Director [P&R]-2.
