Profile: 

Dr. Singh is an officer of the 1995 batch of Indian Revenue Service and has served in different capacities including postings as assessing officer, in the CBDT and in the Academy. Dr. Singh has done MBBS, MD Medicine and has done Masters in Public Finance and Public Administration. He represented India in Actions 1, 6, 7, 14 & 15 of the G20-OECD BEPS project and was a member of Indian team for negotiating tax treaties. He was also a member of the Justice Eeswar Committee for  simplification of Income-tax and Member Secretary of the Committee on taxation of E Commerce.
