	IMPLEMENTATION OF THE RIGHT TO INFORMATION ACT 2005

	The Directorate of Training which includes National Academy of Direct Taxes, Regional Training Institutes and Ministerial Staff Training Institutes has taken steps to implement the Right to Information Act 2005 in letter and spirit. Training material in the form of a training manual and presentations was prepared by NADT and circulated all over the country for training and use of Central Public Information Officers (CPIOs) and Central Assistant Public Information Officers (CAPIOs) of the Income Tax Department.
