PROBATIONER'S CORNER

Presently officers of  the 62nd Batch of Indian Revenue Service are undergoing training. 

The probationers of Indian Revenue Service join the Academy after clearing the Civil Services Examination organized by UPSC. The Academy is Alma-mater to all the officers of Indian Revenue Service having started their careers from the Academy. Every Batch of Probationers has contributed a lot to the development of the Academy. The Various lawns in the Academy, the Archives are mostly the creations of the Probationers. The Academy has a well furnished hostel, State of art class room, an ultra modern computer lab, numerous computer centers for Internet and judicial references. The Academy provides for an all round development of the Probationers. The academic inputs are focused to make them competent officers. The inputs range from theoretical lectures to practical assignments, case study method for teaching, syndicate report presentations, On-the job training, Industrial attachments and the few study tours.

The day for a probationer starts with yoga/ PT/Self Defence in the morning. The class room sessions follow thereafter. The evenings are spent by the probationers in extra curricular activities such as sports & games, swimming, music etc. more
