The Central Board of Direct Taxes
has started a new initiative in knowledge management. This
initiative is aimed at creating a knowledge management system
which aims at creation, collection, collation and dissemination of
organizational knowledge and best practices. In the video conference
held on 30-06-2008, Member (R), CBDT highlighted the process of
compilation of best orders/practices in the Department. As a part of
this process, 10 standard proforma have been devised in the form of
Excel utilities. These utilities facilitate data entry for ease of
compilation and uploading to the knowledge portal. For details,
