IN SERVICE PROGRAMMES

The Academy is also responsible for looking after the training needs of the officers of the Income tax department in India. The training programmes of senior officers are normally organized in the academy. The RTIs also help in organizing the training programmes for the officers and the staff of the department.

Self nomination facility exists for the Departmental officers in respect of the training programmes organized in the Academy. The nominations may be sent through the site directly. Also, the nomination needs to be forwarded through the controlling officer. The names of the self nominated officers will be given priority, in case there are more applicants than the number that can be accommodated in the concerned programme. However, it is necessary that the controlling authority will recommend the name of the officer for the training.
