He is a LLB and Graduate in Commerce from the Mumbai University. He joined the Department as Inspector in 1988 and thereafter was promoted as Income Tax Officer in 1995. He was promoted as Assistant Commissioner of Income Tax in 2008 and posted to NADT. He has worked mainly in Head Quarters and Corporate Charges and erstwhile Special Ranges, in Mumbai. He has keen interest in Religion, Music, Sports, Reading and playing various outdoor and indoor games.
His wife, Vinita works with Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. At Mumbai and has a son Jeremy who studies in Jr. K.G. Shri Varghese has joined NADT in the year 2008 and is currently looking after the administrative matters of the academy. |
