 She has done her BA (Maths) from S P W College, Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh. She is a Gold Medallist and University topper. She has also done PG Diploma in Computer Applications from NIIT.

She belongs to the 1995 batch of IRS and worked in the assessment of business, corporate and central charges as Assistant/Deputy Commissioners at Bangalore, Mangalore and Chennai. She was promoted as Joint Commissioner of Income Tax in the year 2006 and worked in the Media Range, Chennai prior to joining the Academy in April 2007. Her spouse, Dr G.M Doss is Addl Director (Faculty) at NADT. They have two sons, Master Arav (5 years old) and Master Manav Doss (3 years old).
