He belongs to the 1993 batch of IRS and hails from the State of Andhra Pradesh. He is a MA in Sociology from Osmania University Hyderabad and has done diploma in Mining Engg. from Govt. Polytechnic Gudur (AP). PG Diploma in Personal Management, Industrial relations & Labour Welfare from AP productivity Council.
He has worked as ACIT Circle, Chennai, Dy. CIT (Inv), Chennai, Dy. DIT, Chennai and on promotion as Jt. CIT Tambaram Range before being posted at NADT in 2006. he has attended a course on liasoning and Finance Companies for AOs in RTI, Bangalore, course on preventing tax fraud at NADT, Course on DDIT�s Southern States in RTI, Bangalore, E-commerce in RTI, Bangalore and understanding capital markets in UTI Institute of capital Market, Mumbai. His wife Ms Vani Bhoopathi is self-employed and he has a daughter Ms Sahithi and a son Master Sathvik. Shri Rao was in Germany in 2008 for six months for a course from "Inwent". |
