INTAX GAMES 2009

National Academy of Direct Taxes organizes Annual sports event called Intax Games, in which the Officer Trainees of IRS compete in a number of sports activities. These include outdoor games like cricket, tennis, volleyball, basketball etc. The OTs also take part in various indoor games like badminton, table-tennis, squash, billiards, carrom and chess. During the games, a track and field competition is also organized besides the swimming events and a water polo match. Faculty members and their families also take part in these activities. The main purpose of holding the games is to encourage team building and 'espirit-de-corps'. 

The organizing Committee of the Games publishes a daily magazine called 'Lakshya' containing narration of the interesting developments of each day, results of various matches conducted and the schedule for the forthcoming events. The magazine is interspersed with lively pictures of day's events.
